This 12 km round-trip journey travels upstream to the furthest navigable point, passing dramatic red rock formations and the narrow channels near Goat Island. Keep an eye out for ospreys, pelicans, black swans, and occasionally kangaroos and emus. We often stop at Rocky Crossing or Castle Rock so you can stretch your legs and enjoy the surroundings.
Your cruise finishes at the river mouth where the Murchison River meets the Indian Ocean, a spectacular finale.
Tours operate daily (subject to minimum numbers) and are personally guided by Grant and Tracy for a friendly and memorable experience.

Departure Point
Please meet on the grass in front of the Marine Rescue building at 1 Memorial Drive, Kalbarri, (keeping the boat ramp clear). Our vessel will arrive on the beach and boarding is via a ramp. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. Tours require a minimum number of passengers, so we recommend booking online in advance or contacting Grant directly on 0437 177 912 (to avoid the booking fee). We’ll notify you if the minimum number isn’t reached. |
