Cruises
Cruises operate at 10am or 4.30pm (times vary in season) daily for 2.5 hours.
Departures are based on the timing of the high tide.
Weather patterns, pressure systems and the time of year all have an effect on the water levels in the Murchison.
By operating on the high tide, this ensures we have full access to the river and travel as far as any vessel can go, seeing all the great stuff!
Price
Adults $55.00 AUD
Aussie pensioners $53.00 AUD
Children (2-15yrs) $30.00 AUD
Family (2ad + 2ch) $150.00 AUD

What happens on Tour ?
Firstly we board the vessel, followed by a brief safety speech and introduction.
Grant follows the channel up the river with full commentary along the way, there is no rush and there’s a lot to see…
The lower reaches are home to a number of species of birdlife including Ospreys, Kites, Pelicans, Egrets,Australian Shell Ducks, Black Swans and our local White Brested Sea Eagles.
As well as Emus, Kangaroos and Goats are often seen on the riverbanks.
The river at times can be 40mm deep with mullet jumping, small fish and crabs.
The Murchison is a very vital ecosystem and what we see on each cruise is always different.
At the turn around point sometimes there is time to pull up to the shore and take a stroll along the riverbank, then on the return journey plenty of time to relax, take photos and enjoy.
The cruise comes to and end at the Murchison River Mouth, one of WA’s most treacherous.
It’s impressive to watch the water move through channel and boats come and go.
