•  Will I get seasick? No, we operate in smooth gazetted waters with very minimal water movement..

•  Are you Pet friendly ? 🐾

We welcome "Eye seeing" and "Service dogs" onboard our vessel, all we ask is that you notify us beforehand that they will coming along.

We welcome quiet and well behaved pets at our discretion.

•  What should I bring?

A Jacket / coat 🧥 or beanie is the most essential - it can get very cold 🥶 on the river and it's best to have one with you.
Your water bottle, a hat, sunglasses, binoculars and your camera.

• When do you operate?

We operate one cruise per day (minimum numbers are required). 
Generally speaking, we operate sunset cruises from Nov > May and Morning cruises from June > October. 
This can change due to the tides and weather patterns.
Our online booking system will reflect availability and we will always reach out to you should anything change regarding your tour.

•  Is there a toilet onboard?

• Can I bring my own Alcohol onboard?

No, we hold a Special Facility Liquor Licence onboard the vessel.
We stock a small range of beer, wine, champagne, cider and premix cans and accept cash or card payments.

•  Can I bring a Wheel chair?

Yes.

• Can I bring a pram?

Yes, you can.

• Can I bring my own food?

Yes, the tours are 2.5 hours long and we advise to always bring your own water bottle for drinking water, and snacks for small children. We encourage the use of keep cups for our complimentary cuppas.

• Will I get sunburnt?

There is an overhead roof for shade for all passengers on the vessel.
We recommend wearing sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses as passengers are still outside in the elements with water reflection.

• What’s included when I book my ticket?

We offer complimentary tea, coffee or milo with a yummy biscuit.

• How far up River do we go?

We travel up the lower reaches of the Murchison River.
From the river mouth to the farthest point is 6km, (12km return).
This is as far as any vessel can access, due to the river being very rocky and shallow.

• What will we see?

Open planes of landscape, colourful rocks and local fauna.
We often see a variety of wildlife including Kangaroos, Emus, Goats, and many species of birdlife including Whistling Kites, Wedge Tail Eagles, White Breasted Sea Eagle, Egrets, Osprey, Herons, Cormorants and Pelicans.

• Will I see the Gorges?

No, the Gorges and National Park are 70km by River from Kalbarri’s township, these may be accessed by vehicle only.
